Wes Parker
Wes Parker started writing as a hobby when still a small child in elementary school, and he has grown more and more serious about it with each passing year. He has now authored several books, and many more are yet to come. He earned his bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and has completed a considerable amount of graduate level work from various sources, mostly military schools. In 1980, he began a career in the armed forces that is still going strong today. It has taken him all over the world and has included both active and reserve duty. He now lives close to where he grew up on his family's cow/calf operation near the capitol of Oklahoma's Choctaw Nation. He is descended from soldiers, settlers, ranchers and Native Americans. His military work with indigenous people of numerous countries gives him an uncommon perspective from which to write. These things, combined with a lifelong study of the Old West and his formal education as a historian, make him uniquely suited to write stories of the American Frontier and more.
